PVC Pipe Location

Information About PVC Pipe Location

Locating PVC piping in an open location is a more difficult process and requires different and more sophisticated equipment than finding copper piping leaks under concrete slabs. After the PVC piping is found and routed, conventional leak detection is sometimes used to try and “hear” the leak along the run of the pipe. Because a hose bib is required between the service meter and the building it serves, it is best to have this work done by a licensed plumber who can install a hose bib, if necessary, while on the job.
